Competition..What would you do with a fiver?

The charity YouthNet http://youthnet.org/  are running a project, TheSite.org http://www.thesite.org/%20 about thinking creatively about how to use your money in these difficult times.

At TheSite.org http://www.thesite.org/%20 we aim to provide support and guidance to young people aged 16 – 25 about a whole range of topics from drink & sex to work & education, and in these tricky economic times we’re focusing on money.

We’re hosting a competition on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/TheSite.org?sk=app_192540010780935  to challenge young people to think creatively about how they would spend a fiver in the best way and challenge the perception of what can be done on a small budget.

Our Fiver Challenge http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/TheSite.org?sk=app_192540010780935 is a chance for young people to demonstrate what interesting, ingenious and down right brilliant things they can do with a small amount of money for the chance to win one of six iPad 2s.

There’s some additional info below or this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCUjWRGlLZY explains the competition really well.

Entrants can submit a photo, video or short blog post to describe what they would do with a fiver. There are six categories for entries:

2) Most entertaining use of a fiver
3) Most creative use of a fiver
4) Most (clean) fun had on a fiver
5) Furthest stretched fiver / best bargain
6) Most fulfilling / selflessly spent fiver

The competition runs until the 29th April. Winning entrants must be 16 - 25 years old. Entries will be shortlisted based on the number of ‘likes’ they receive from the Facebook community and the shortlisted entries judged by a panel including the Guardian’s Head of Consumer http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2011/mar/07/fiver-challenge-win-ipad/print, a representative from our supporters Citi Foundation and Charlie from Charlieissocoollike http://www.youtube.com/charlie . There will be one iPad 2 given away for each winning entry per category.
