Youth Commission Survey
The Edge Learner Forum is now investigating young people's employability with the aim of reaching up to 10,000 young people across the UK by the end of January 2010. We have already had support for the investigation from a range of key players in policy and business, including Iain Wright MP, UK Commission for Employment and Skills, Tesco, Orange, Bovis, and key civil servants from BIS, DWP and DCSF.
The Learner Forum is gathering the views of young people using a range of means including face-to-face interviews with their peers, workshops with target groups, and an online survey. The idea of the online survey is to test some emerging hypotheses over a large sample of thousands of young people - to get the stats and facts we need to get Government and media to sit up and take notice.
The link for the survey is www.youthcommissionsurvey.co.uk and is open to anyone under 25.
