Bargains Bargains Bargains! Walk away with unique designer goods for a fiver.
This Sunday entrance to Wouldn’t it be nice… is just £2 and you get exclusive access to the åbäke Garage Sale, all items under £5. On the last day of 14 days residency, the cult graphic design studio åbäke are selling off EVERYTHING, including rare vinyl from uber-underground electronica label Kitsuné and equally rare back catalogues of Sexy Machinery magazines as well as books, clothes, one off design pieces and shed-loads of weird bits and bobs from 7 years of the studio’s output (and you get to see the exhibition). Don’t miss out.

Beck's Futures nominated artist Ryan Gander's work ranges installation, sculpture, intervention, writing and performative lecturing known for his conceptual but humourous approach.
For Wouldn't it be nice... Gander has mass-produced a bespoke deck of playing cards Parallel Cards, featuring a different card on each side. As part of an ongoing project, visitors are invited to devise and contribute new card games. Gander will be in conversation with exhibition curator Emily King.
Combined exhibition and talk ticket £12, talk ticket only £8
Ryan Gander's Parallel Cards day, Sat 22 Nov
Ryan Gander and graphic designers Europa will host a cards tournament in the Embankment Galleries. The newly-devised card game will be played with Parallel Cards, the double-sided playing cards designed by the artists, featuring a different card on each side . Come down and join in!
The tournament will run from 1pm until 6pm on Saturday 22 November.
Booking is essential. Entry is free with your exhibition ticket. Reserve your place by emailing sarah.mann@somersethouse.org.uk. Be sure to include what time you’d like to play.
