WORLDbytes free weekend intensive on-the-job film training.
WORLDbytes is the new online magazine channel, home to feisty monthly alternative news programmes created by volunteers at WORLDwrite. It aims to get behind the headlines and promote a people-first perspective on a wide-range of issues; so donâ t shout at the telly, change the message on it! Check out www.worldbytes.org
WORLDbytes is offering a unique opportunity to new volunteers to join the news crew and access a free weekend intensive on-the-job film training, while shooting for the next news programmes. With professional tutors in our newly refurbished studio, training will include everything from lighting to camera, sound and presenting.
The training will take place Saturday 24th January to Sunday 25th January. If you wish to take part in this special opportunity you must be aged between 16 to 25 years and ideally attend the New Year WORLDbytes crew meeting Monday 5th January 7:30pm at the WORLDwrite studio at our centre.
