Voluntary Commission - Portobello Winter Fest
This is an amazing opportunity to showcase your work to the public, we are looking for someone who can work creatively with outdoor spaces.
‘Alt-xmas’, mixing beauty with the obscure, located on the prodigious Portobello Square site where the concrete bulk of the Westway crosses London’s iconic market street Portobello Road. West London’s twist on the world famous Munich festival complete with Glühwein for all! Gifts, stalls, hot cocktails and international Christmas cuisine. Providing a celebration of these events, a resident DJ will play host in the afternoons across the weekend, alongside live bands playing in the evening. Providing not only a party vibe but making this a novel experience for the public.
This is the first in a series of events designed to showcase youth culture of Notting Hill and the Ladbroke Grove area, emphasizing music, design and artistic talent, while at the same time supporting the local design and craft-led independent businesses which make the area a mecca for those who dare to be different and underlining our vibrant consumer base.
Festival Dates- 19th-21st of December
