Call for submissions: "ViDea - women's video art exhibition"
ViDea - women's video art exhibition, a project promoted by the University of Siena in partnership with the University of Ferrara (Faculty of Humanistic and Philosophy, Chair of History of Contemporary Art) in Italy, is now in its third year. It is aimed at an exploration of women's creative expression through the language of video, by analysing its approach to different topics. Whilst last year, for example, the exhibition was focused on the female body and identity, this year it will be dedicated to African culture. In particular, the project will examine various themes related to the concept of "mirror", such as, for instance, the double, the reflection, the virtual reality, etc.
