U8 Charity - Creative Volunteers

* Use your creativity to positively impact our World *

You're creative and skilled in graphic design. You care about what's going on in the World and what you see on your tv screen.

What can you do that combines both?

Why not help out a global student charity and get plenty of experience & credit at the same time?

We at U8 are looking for some creative types to help us get our message across …

U8 has 50 international uni groups and aims to get students learning and sharing about development issues from HIV/AIDS to Climate Change to the Millennium Development Goals. It works through research, a magazine and events. Our website is central to linking students from around the World in discussion and activity.

How would you get fellow students thinking about what poverty means to them? How would you challenge their pre-conceptions in visual form?

As well as putting your gifts towards something helpful & meaningful, working for a global charity looks great on the CV and your credits will go out on a well-established & circulated website and newsletter.
U8 is looking for people to help with some or all of the following:
- Logo touching up (adding in tagline, creating headers etc.)
- Website graphics (tabs, headers etc.)
- design for Monthly Newsletter (currently on Adobe Illustrator)
- Viral/ Promo Videos
- Stash designs
- whatever you think can get students thinking about global issues! We'd love your input and creativity.

If you are interested, please email sophie@u8development.org with a CV or examples of previous work and a cover email before 14th April.
