TTP Student Design Award

SCOPE
The following are examples of possible responses to the project brief:

A product for preparing or dispensing food or beverage
A system that aims to reduce food waste at any stage from growing and harvesting through to storage and consumption
Creative implementation of a novel technology to improve eating habits within the UK
Many others are possible… be imaginative!

JUDGING CRITERIA
Your project will be judged by TTP business managers, engineers and designers against the following criteria:

Insight and inspiration - finding a gap in the market
Commercial feasibility
Creative application of novel or existing technology
Design implementation and an eye for detail
Presentation and execution

SCHEDULE
Entries open 24 October 2011
Deadline for entries 10 February 2012
Finalists announced 1 March 2012
Finalists workshop & award ceremony 15 March 2012
Internship begins 20 August 2012

PRIZE
£18,000 salary for a 12 month internship at The Technology Partnership
Apple MacBook Pro 15” laptop

WHO CAN ENTER?
TTP student design award can be entered by any student in their final year of an
undergraduate or postgraduate degree course during 2011/12 academic year.
