The World Steel Association has launched a Trophy Design Competition.
World Steel Association invites entries for creative design of a new Trophy which symbolises the art and science of steelmaking!
Criteria
• The design should be centered around the theme of steel/steelmaking.
• It should be light weight, durable & easy to manufacture.
• It should primarily be made of steel. Other materials
if used, should be kept to a minimum.
• There should be a possibility of engraving the name of the recipient of
Trophy and year etc. on a small plate.
Prize €300
Terms and Conditions
• By submitting the entries, designers transfer all rights to
the World Steel Association.
• A panel of judges will review the entries and the decision
will be final.
• Deadline: 12:00 GMT, 25 August 2010.
• The design should include 2D & 3D drawings (preferably in
electronic format) and assembly instructions (where necessary)
as well as material specification.
• Individual and team entries will be accepted - however
only one prize per individual/team will be awarded.
