The Printworks Showcase
Looking for a chance to showcase your design talent and win an internship?
The Printworks Showcase is a new interior design competition giving both up-and-coming and established designers the opportunity to put their creative stamp on one of London's most exiting new residential developments.
Urban regeneration developer First Base has got together with Icon magazine and the British Institute for Interior Design to launch a new competition inviting both student and professional designers to create an interior decoration concept for the show apartment of Printworks â a major new residential scheme by the internationally acclaimed Glenn Howells Architects in Londons Elephant & Castle.
Prizes are up for grabs. As well as being featured in a forthcoming issue of Icon magazine, the student prize winner will also be awarded an internship with leading interior practice Universaldesignstudio.
The competition will be judged by a high-profile panel including Jenny Gibbs, President of the British Institute of Interior Design, Iconâ s editor Justin McGuirk, the architect Glenn Howells and Brian Studak of Universal design studio.
