The Playground is looking for sharp, witty and on-trend writers
The Playground is looking for sharp, witty and on-trend writers to cover film premieres, gallery launches as well as offer some honest, brutal and engaging comment. The position is very casual and all we ask is that you commit to at least one piece a fortnight. For film applicants who do not live in the London area, DVD's of press previews can be sent to any address of your choosing. However, fine art applicants must reside in London.
The right candidate will have a good knowledge of cinema and/or fine art and has a snappy writing style. Ideally the candidate will have a good personal/telephone manner and is confident with celebrity. You will probably meet some very famous people along the way, and you may have to speak to them, so it is important to be comfortable with this.
