The Pineapple Lounge Online trend reporters wanted!

I am a kids and teens ‘expert’ who has been working in the industry for the last few years. I’m currently setting up a website for 9 – 15 year old boys and girls. It will be a magazine site style featuring updates and news from the following areas:

· Fashion and beauty

· Film and animation

· Technology and gadgets

· Travel and worldwide

· Environmental/eco

· Art and culture

The Pineapple Lounge is set to become ‘the online hub’ for tweens and teens. And you can become part of this journey! Becoming a site columnist is a good opportunity to hone your knowledge and trend forecasting in your specialised area relevant to your degree.

I am looking for students from relevant degrees to become columnists for the site and submit articles every other month. Young people have few opportunities to hear from students, so part of your role will involve replying to emails from site members. You will have your own profile and picture on the site with an opportunity to showcase your own world and add links to your own sites.

To begin with, this will be a low/unpaid position; however there are big plans for the site and a much bigger business objective in the future. If it all goes to plan with your help, you will reap the rewards later!

If you would like to be considered for the role of site author then please send me an email with 200 words about you and what you might write about in your first entry. I’m also seeking animation/film students who would be interested in producing an ongoing short that will feature on the site.

I look forward to welcoming you into The Pineapple Lounge.
