The London Chat Show
The London Chat show is a new monthly theatre show that takes place at the Canal Cafe Theatre, W2. Following a SOLD OUT show on January 25, The London Chat Show returns on February 23, 7.30pm with more high profile guests and a FASHION & BEAUTY theme.
Taking place on the last day of London fashion week, interviewees already confirmed include leading British fashion designer Paul Costelloe, whose show is opening London Fashion Week for the second year running, and renowned celebrity hairdresser Trevor Sorbie MBE. Plus, supermodel turned TV star Janice Dickinson.
Evening Standard Entertainment Journalist Amira Hashish will be talking to the guests about their involvement in the fashion industry, how they achieved their success and their advice for people who would like to follow in their footsteps.
Audience members are encouraged to submit any questions they have for interviewees before the show so we thought this would particularly appeal to your students.
New York singing sensation Nell Bryden will be February’s music act. Hailed by Jenni Murray as: “The best singer we have ever had on Woman’s Hour!” her musical influences include country, jazz, blues and soul.
There will also comedy on the bill with Gap Yah stars The Unexpected Items.
We would be very happy to offer tickets to at the concessionary rate of £8.50.
All those who purchase tickets are also entered into a competiton draw to win a range of prizes, including a VIP pamper day at Trevor Sorbie’s Covent Garden salon.
Full details of the show are available on the website: www.londonchatshow.com
Tickets have just gone on sale and spaces are limited so we would advise that those keen to attend the talk would book as soon as possible. Tickets can be booked here (http://www.canalcafetheatre.com/EventPage.php?EventId=763 ) and when purchasing students and staff can choose the 'Concession' option.
Please could any students/staff that have purchased tickets email info@londonchatshow.co.uk with the reference: Fashion and the name under which the tickets were purchased. We will then ensure their discounted tickets are valid upon collection.
