Video commission opportunity
The videos will be used to promote the album on YouTube, Vimeo and other media.
All you have to do is listen to the tracks at www.soundcloud.com/thisistheking, decide if you like our work, and contact Musa Okwonga at musa.okwonga@gmail.com with a sample of your work. We will then contact you so that we can discuss your ideas for the project. You can see previous animations for The King’s Will at www.thekingswill.com.
About The King’s Will
One of the UK’s leading poets and football writers, Musa Okwonga (BBC Radio 1, BBC World Service, The New York Times, The Independent) has teamed up with multi-talented painter, composer and electronica producer Giles Hayter (recently compared to Kandinsky) to form The King’s Will, a two-man electronica outfit. They are completing their second album, “The Swords Are Coming”, whose themes are either personal or political, but always broad in their scope.
Payment schedule
£150 upon signing of contract for work, £150 upon completion of video.
There will be a written contract in place, and students/graduates will be paid at least National Minimum Wage for any work completed.
