The Bar-Tur Award
University of the Arts London is pleased to launch a major annual photography award which has been established in memory of Ann Lesley Bar-Tur (1947-1984). Ann was an exceptionally talented British artist and alumna of Chelsea College of Art & Design who died in 1984. The Award has been created by her family and friends in collaboration with University of the Arts London.
The Bar-Tur Award is open to all current students studying on an FE or HE course at University of the Arts London and University alumni who have graduated from an FE or HE course within the last ten years.
Selected by a high-profile judging panel, the winners of The Bar-Tur Award will receive fantastic prizes, including cash, equipment and internships within the creative industry. Shortlisted applicants will also have their work shown in a touring exhibition and publication.
