T-Shirt Designer required
In November 2009 we will be launching 2020 Vision, an online communications campaign with an optimistic, active approach to climate change. The campaign aims to reposition the debate focusing on the positive growth opportunities to create a better world that climate change offers rather than the negative.
The campaign will feature over 100 videos, artwork and poems from prominent figures such as politicians, business leaders, environmentalists, celebrities all the way down to schoolchildren.
Caroline Lucas, Jonathan Porritt, Lord Nicholas Stern, Dr Rajendra Pachuri (IPCC), Richard Brown (CEO Eurostar), Marcus Agius (CEO Barclays), Willie Walsh (CEO British Airways), VP of the Maldives and Bianca Jagger are to name but a few of the figures participating in the campaign.
These videos/artwork/written pieces detail their positive visions of a sustainable, low carbon world in 2020, allowing anyone to view these and upload their own, stimulating debate surrounding the issue.
We would like to create some t-shirts for the campaign for promotional purposes and to get young people involved and interested in climate change.
The t-shirts would be produced and sold on the website the proceeds from which will be re-invested back into the campaign. Pictures of designers wearing their t-shirts will be posted on the 2020 Vision website with their name. This could be a great opportunity for the designer as the website will be a hub of activity with a wide variety of companies already participating in the campaign.
We will select a winning design as the official campaign t-shirt to be worn by the Planet Positive team at events etc.
For a copy of the design brief please contact Jenny Blanco on jennifer.blanco@planet-positive.org or 0207 250 1551.
