Student journalists required to promote London
We are looking for 2 journalism students, ideally studying at a postgraduate level.
Tell me more about the job
You will be required to write 6 x 200 word articles.
Articles will be published on www.studylondon.ac.uk, the Study London blog or insight magazine. The majority of articles will be interview based and you will be expected to interview Londonâ s international students, academics and university staff.
Style
Take a look at the style and content we currently publish in insight magazine: http://www.studylondon.ac.uk/insight. A detailed brief and style guide will be supplied upon appointment.
What is Study London?
Study London is a promotional campaign to encourage international students to study in London. The project is not-for-profit and is supported by the Mayor of London.
Payment
Students will be paid £250 on acceptance of six suitable articles.
Timing
Students will be expected to submit all six articles before 1 April 2010.
How do I apply?
Please submit a short example of your writing to simon.mccaugherty@studylondon.ac.uk. Please remember to include your contact details.
The deadline for applications is 8 February.
Shortlisted students will be invited to an informal interview in central London on 11 February.
