STOMPER presents IAN EMES: It Was a Thursday Night, a unique opportunity to view the work of one of the foremost British animators of our time. Ian Emes is a pioneer in the visualisation of music and his internationally renowned work helped usher in the era of the music video. The exhibition will feature a screening of his iconic, animation for Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon as well as original animation cells, storyboards and artwork. Along with the screening of additional rarely seen short works, viewers will have the opportunity to engage in a special in conversation and Q&A with Ian and Marcus Fisher (Wired and Frieze magazine). Followed with music by DJ Greg Poole and dance performance choreographed by Pat Garrett.
