STILL / MOVING WORKSHOPS
JH ENGSTRÖM WORKSHOP
LONDON
Sun 8th - Thurs 12th Nov, 2009
The second STILL/MOVING workshop will be given by Swedish photographer JH Engström, celebrated internationally for his unique style of exploratory and expressive life-based photography and who was awarded The Arles Contemporary Book Award for 2009 for his collaborative book "From Back Home" with Anders Petersen.
The workshop will be open to 10 applicants who should be open and willing to challenge their own photographic practice. It will cover 5 days of intense classes and slideshows together with an artist 'in conversation' talk which is also open to the public.
The workshop will take place in Hackney, London and will run from 10am - 6pm.
Participants will be encouraged to shoot new work during the week.
Cost: approx £500 (depending on funding - will not go up, hopefully will go down)
