Standon Calling's Killer T-Shirt Competition
That’s why we’re asking any talented designers, artists and illustrators out there to help give our festival merchandise a new face. Actually its first face – we’ve never produced as much as a festival T-shirt before. We're tired of the same old festival branding and have enlisted some established artists and illustrators to give the T-shirts a new twist. But we’re also keen to discover and support up-and-coming creatives. So we decided to hold a competition.
This year’s theme is ‘Murder on the Standon Express’ so if you’ve got a killer T shirt idea based around this we’d love to see it? Think murder, mystery, mayhem and madness. Please include the text 'Standon Calling' somewhere on the design.
How to enter: Please email your design to design@standon-calling.com before as a moderately high j-peg (at least 1500-pixels wide). Although please note that the final artwork will need to be supplied as either a colour separated PSD file or a vector/bitmap based Illustrator file.
Your design should contain a maximum of three colours.
-Your design should not contain any copyrighted material.
-Please don’t include any fancy pants printing techniques, such as glow in dark, fuzzy felt or marmite.
Closing date: 21st June 2010
Judging Process: Your designs will be judged by a panel of established arts professionals
Prize details: The winner will receive two VIP festival packages including boutique camping, as well as seeing their T-shirt printed. We’ll also feature the artist on the festival website. This isn’t a money-making exercise, so if we make any proceeds we’ll be giving some to charity.
