Skillset Course - Online Marketing for Filmmakers
Supported by Skillset - an innovative course in online marketing for filmmakers, . The course centres on a workshop to be held in Brighton on 18 & 19 September, and is open to filmmakers at all stages in their careers with a current project in development.
The course has a strong practical focus, with participants building an online promotion and distribution strategy for their film by examining both recent trends in social media and established techniques in Web marketing. In addition, each participant will be supported for three months following the workshop in regular one-on-one sessions with the course tutor, online marketing expert Iris Lamprecht. Hardship support of £75 is available to assist with the course fee of £220.
Online Marketing for Filmmakers will be a highly valuable experience for emerging filmmakers as it will provide them with both an opportunity to network with a diverse group of filmmakers from around the UK, and a flexible set of skills that will be relevant throughout their careers.
