Showtime Challenge Auditions
Showtime Challenge follows a format where we pick a musical, a charity and a theatre, audition a cast who have just eight weeks to learn the score independently, gather the cast and team for the first time on a Friday night, rehearse for 48 hours, and produce a polished performance on the Sunday evening to thousands of people. No easy task, then!
After the success of Me and My Girl (London Palladium, 2008), Sweet Charity (Theatre Royal Drury Lane, 2006) and Into The Woods (New Theatre, Oxford, 2004) we're now planning our fourth Showtime Challenge. And with all proceeds going to charity – having previously raised more than £50,000 for
charities such as the British Heart Foundation, The Anthony Nolan Trust and The Oxford Children's Hospital – there could be no bolder, more amibtious theatrical event to support.
This year's Showtime Challenge will be a production of Crazy for You on Sunday 18 October 2009, for Cecily's Fund, at the prestigious theatre, The London Palladium.
Showtime Challenge has seen hundreds of performers make their West End debut, and is dedicated to providing new opportunities for people.
We shall be holding auditions for the cast of Crazy for You over the first two weekends of July in London. To sign up, please visit our website:

Auditions will take place at: The Franklin Wilkins Building, King's College London, 150 Stamford Street, London, SE1 (nearest tube: Waterloo)
Cecily's Fund is a UK registered charity that helps Zambian orphans and other impoverished children to go to school. Education is one of the most effective weapons in the battle against HIV– it gives children vital information, support from teachers and friends and skills to help them earn a living after school.
Cecily's Fund enables more than 8,000 children to go to school by providing uniforms, shoes, books, pens and other equipment, and paying school and exam fees. Cecily's Fund then helps train some of the graduates as teachers and peer health educators so they can pass on life-giving education to thousands more youngsters.
