Creative Careers welcomes Searchlight Recruitment to the Careers Centre, Davies Street on Friday 22nd May between 10am and 1pm
Searchlight Recruitment is an employment agency working exclusively in and around the Broadcast, Film and Home Entertainment Industries including TV, Post Production, distribution, music, film, corporate production, digital media and mobile.
If you would like the opportunity to meet with one of the Searchlight team (biographies below) to discuss recruitment methods, Veronica and Catherine request that you bring along your CV with a supporting letter applying for an ACTUAL job that has been advertised either on their site or elsewhere (please bring advertisement if possible), this includes any past roles and does not have to be current. Advice will then be given on do's and don't's and the best approach in this market.
These appointments are only available to current students and recent graduates (2008 and 2007 leavers) of the University of the Arts London.

Catherine Walker
Senior Consultant
Catherine's understanding of the TV and film business is diverse. With a background in subtitling, and DVD production for Channel 4, she then moved into media monitoring, providing evaluation and analysis for clients such as Buena Vista and Columbia Tristar. She joined Searchlight Recruitment in May 2005.
Veronica Birjukov
Senior Consultant
Veronica started her career at The Observer newspaper. A career in sales followed at The Wall Street Journal, The Evening Standard and International Herald Tribune - managing the classified division - before embarking on a career in television. After a brief stint in production she moved into programme commissioning/development and television sales & distribution for both Fremantle and Mercury
