**One Week To Go!!** RE:Fashion Awards 2008
Final call for entries to RE:Fashion
The world's first dedicated awards for ethical fashion
Open until 5pm Friday 22nd August
The RE:Fashion awards will take place on 13th November 2008, celebrating people and organisations who have taken great strides in tackling poverty, healing the environment, and changing consumer attitudes towards ethical fashion.
The awards are open to eco-fabulous designers, manufacturers, retailers, students…
There are 11 RE:Fashion awards in three categories:
Designers Awards
Awards for Fashion Designers and New Designers
Making a Difference Awards
Awards for Manufacturers, Retailers, Consumers Communications, Clean Cotton and work in Africa
Innovation Awards
Awards for Pioneering Business, People, Environmental action and Recycling
The Esthethica prize will also be awarded to a small selection of short-listed designers, giving them the opportunity to exhibit their collections for two seasons.
The night promises to be one to remember, with an exclusive catwalk show featuring one off iconic pieces created especially for the event by designers including Zandra Rhodes, Preen and Allegra Hicks.
