Unique film opportunity for art students

St. Petersburg, FL - National recording artist Ryan Powers Boyle is seeking filmmakers for a collaborative project.

It’s All So Beautiful, It’s All So Strange is an idea for a unique marriage of film and music. Essentially 10 independent yet interrelated dramatic music videos, the film will tell the story of a person living through 10 chapters of his life -- or 10 different lives, depending on your perspective. Each short film will play concurrent with the song on which it is based and should match up artistically and metaphorically with its song whenever possible.

Each film will be conceived, cast, and shot by a different filmmaker, leading to a film experience not unlike Paris Je T'aime or New York, I Love You, wherein each chapter is obviously unique and stylistically distinct from the others yet exhibiting a shared thematic and allegorical thread. Though the filmmaker is encouraged to make his or her chosen film their own, each film will adhere to a basic plot framework (described at the URL below) thereby ensuring a smooth and uniform arc to the storyline.

Participating filmmakers will receive a share of all net profits from DVD sales.
