Re-boot Camp
Format:
A 2-day technology free retreat amidst woodlands and gardens. It is a chance to make a social impact while connecting with new people and to nature. We will unleash fresh and actionable ideas that can be applied to both your personal and professional lives. A social venture (SV) preselected by the team will benefit from the team’s mix of skills over 5 social design labs totaling 8 hours. The outcomes from the labs will take force after the Camp as the proposals are adopted, piloted, and implemented by the chosen SV. You will also have ample time to unwind, relax, and enjoy a range of recreational activities. Prepare to be challenged to re-think how things are – and design for how they could be. Download a complete itinerary of the weekend here
Who’s it for:
Suitable for people from all backgrounds from students and professionals, to designers, gardeners, volunteers, athletes, techies, social innovators, educators, entrepreneurs, thinkers, doers, makers, and activists alike!
Methods & Outcomes:
Our social design labs employ methods that foster creativity and innovative responses to challenges. Through action learning and unfettered dialogue, we develop proposals that are translated into pilot programmes. With a stakeholder committed to the project from the outset, we have the capacity to go from the birth of ideas right through to implementation. Reboot draws inspiration from a creative social technology known as the U-Process. Through developing new initiatives within the group – you help construct a new reality. With a fine balance of learning, giving, and playing – you will come away fresh from the weekend with a deeper connection to your creativity and rejuvenated by time spent with new people and nature.
