Power Words
Are your descriptions too long? Are you finding it difficult to find one word that describe your duties and responsibilities concisely? Do your descriptions fail to highlight what you specifically achieved?
|If you use ‘power words’ at the beginning of each sentence, and ‘actively’ describe what you did, you can ensure that the reader pictures you using those skills.

- Established
- Co-ordinated
- Created
- Supported
- Reorganised
- Arranged
- Attended
- Developed
- Designed
- Marketed
- Negotiated
- Edited
- Helped
- Planned
