People required for paid work on a television drama series
The production is looking for people who are actually working in the industry or are training to work in the creative industries.
The production is also looking for models (female 5'8 and over and male 6' and over) to portray catwalk models.
The first block of filming is 15 Mar - 15 April 2009 and those selected maybe required for only one day or maybe required for several, depending on the scene. Selection, audition, and costume making (for the catwalk models only) takes place next week so applications are needed right now! Those portraying fashionistas/ those attending industry parties and shows will be required to wear their own high fashion clothing.
A standard filming day is from 7am - 7pm and filming takes place every day of the week so anyone interested must be able to take time off from their day job/course.
Payment is under the PACT/FAA Agreement for Supporting Artists and works out at £82.80 plus £7.80 travel allowance for a 8 hours plus one for lunch and overtime thereafter is paid at £14.22 per hour. 20% agency commission is deducted from all gross fees except fare allowances.
For the scenes portraying fashion shows/parties, they are looking for high fashion and quirkiness and great hairstyles if possible. The catwalk model requirement is straightforward.
There are requirements for both male and female.
Filming is likely to take place in and around Central London.
If you are interested please email a suitable image and contact number ASAP to lesleycastingnetwork@talk21.com and write FASHION (Arts) in the subject box.
**Please note: This opportunity is exempt from the 1975 Sex Discrimination Act - Clause 7(2)(a)**
