Papatango New Writing Competition
We are looking for budding writers to send their scripts into us by January 21st 2009 for the chance to have their play produced at the Tristan Bates Theatre, in the heart of the West end, for a 3 week run in may 2009. The winning script will be chosen by our panal of top industry professionals including West End directors and literary agents.
PapaTango began in 2007 and has since produced two one act plays. In 2008 'Angel' was awarded the accolade of 'Best Overall Production' at the Lost Theatre Company One Act Festival judged by Jeremy Kingston (The Times) and awarded by Steven Berkoff. 'Angel' and 'The Muse' enjoyed a sell out run at The Pleasance Theatre, Islington, during May 2008 and both were invited to 'The Actor's Centre Midnight Matinee'.
