Open Invitation: Come and take part in a live interactive installation

Four London College of Communication students have designed a live interactive platform on the Wieden+Kennedy windows at Hanbury Street (off Brick Lane).

The piece is called "Get A Life". It is an experimental piece which invites
the public (on the street, and via Skype) to participate. It is a bit like playing
with dolls, but in life-size and real-time.

Two mannequins have had enough of sitting by the window display, and came out to the street to hang out - they are dying to meet you.

In order to become a mannequin (give him voice, see through his eyes, and talk to the people in the street), you can contact getalife.thisiswhywemeet via Skype.

Also, we are planning few events for the weekend and it would be great if performance artists, comedians..anyone having something interesting to say could contact us. It can be a really serious thought, a joke, a poem, a song anything...

They can call on Skype and have a "virtual" performance with the audience or e-mail us at lcc@thisiswhywemeet.com and we will arrange a meeting.
We won't be able to pay you but we promise you your name/performance on our blog and lots of fun!
