ACTORS/PERFORMERS needed for a video project.
You will be required to learn a short text (about a page of A4) and then tell the story in front of the camera (so not be camera shy) as if it were your own story.
This will be a valuable experience for anyone wanting a challenge, practice working with a text and acting skills for film, plus it looks great on your CV.
This project is being made with the idea of showing as part of a group exhibition at Trinity Buoy Wharf in February 2010.
I would like to hear from people of different age groups, social and ethnic backgrounds. You do not need to be a professional actor as long as you feel that this will be a good experience for you and you can deliver a text in a natural manner.
The filming will take place in Wimbledon College of Art, Merton Hall Road, SW19 3QA. It is not as far as it sounds! Only 15 mins by train from Waterloo. The dates are:
Thurs 26 Nov (11AM-4.30PM)
Mon 30 Nov (11AM-1PM)
Tue 1 Dec (11AM-1PM)
Thurs 3 Dec (11AM-4.30PM)
If you are available on any of these dates, any time, please get in touch. If not but you would still like to take part, do let me know, extra dates may be added.
You will be reimbursed for your expenses up to £5. There will not be a casting process as such, just come and try out on the day.
