Graduated from London College of Fashion with a BA Fashion Design (Knitwear) in 2007

I definitely identify with ‘The Transition Curve’ when looking back at my time after graduation and after a couple of months out of work. After graduation I felt really down and my moods went up and down according to the interviews that I went to and the feedback I received. I was feeling depressed and not getting up in the morning, which then stopped me sticking to commitments. If I had nothing in my diary then I found it increasingly hard to wake up and get stuff done. Consequently, I’d feel frustrated when lunchtime came along and still not achieved anything.

I am now at step 7: I believe in myself, can ask people what they think and thank them for their thoughts, and I can be disciplined which reflects in my work over the past 3 months. I also have learned that when I am planning I don’t focus on too many areas all at once – I can successfully prioritise.
