Make-up Artist required for short film production
My name is Myriam Roelli, I am a student of the London Film Academy and the 1st AD of a 10min short film called "Yael".
We are currently looking for a Make-up Artist who would be interested in working on a short film production.
It would be a complicated shoot, involving at least two locations (1 INT and 1 EXT). The shooting dates would be
Thursday Nov 6th through Monday November 10th.
The film is set in Hungary in World War II. It involves a woman being held prisoner by the German army. It has a large amount of make-up needs, including small wounds, exhaustion, emaciation, the appearance of long periods in dank cells... etc. It includes five characters, A German SS Officer, a German Soldier, A young Jewish Girl held in captivity in Hungary, Her Mother who has been held in a concentration camp, and a Young Jewish Man who may exist only in the young girl's imagination.
