LIVE CONFLICT - performers needed for cross practice collaboration. HACKNEY WICKED FESTIVAL

Martine Borge and Andrew Hardwidge are looking for participants for a forth coming performance in the Hackney Wicked Festival in Late July. They are looking for between eight and 12 participants for a paint-balling conflict to be performed in a domestic / arts space in Hackney Wick.

The work looks at conflict, warfare and game playing, and roles and egos within these situations.

Andrew and Martine are looking for a range of participants from different practises and backgrounds, Dance, Theatre, Fine Arts, Literature, Architecture, etc. Amateur, Student or Professional.

The piece comes from a period of research exploring an act of improvised drawing, comparing our different practises (Fine art and Dance) and perspectives in approaching the task. They are looking for individuals who feel they would engage with the project and bring an active and personal input and understanding to the work and the process.

They will need to be free for two intensive rehearsal on 4, 5, 18 and 19 July and on the afternoon and evening of the performance on 31st July. The project is unpaid.

There will be no audition as such but Andrew and Martine are looking to have a meeting with performers. Contact Andrew Hardwidge with a CV or cover letter stating your interest and/or any other information you feel is relevant.
