Kinetica Art Fair is Looking for Volunteers

Kinetica is looking for volunteers to assist with our 2010 Art Fair, which runs from the 4th - 7th February. We need committed volunteers, who are confident with the public, to assist in numerous areas from invigilating the exhibits, welcoming people on reception, running the Kinetica shop, and helping with setting-up and taking down the event.

Kinetica Art Fair is produced by Kinetica Museum and is the first of its kind in the UK. It provides collectors, curators and the public with a unique opportunity to view and purchase artworks from leading contemporary arts organisations and artists specialising in kinetic, electronic, robotic, light, sound, time-based and interdisciplinary new media art.

We ask that all volunteers are available during the period of the fair Thursday 4th - Sunday 7th February, as a result of the busy nature of the event. We will also need a few volunteers to help set up the exhibits, who would start on Tuesday 2nd February.

Kinetica attracts thousands of visitors during the course of the event, and volunteers play a key role for both those who visit and those who exhibit. This is an opportunity to see, experience, and participate in an innovative art fair, and the contribution of our volunteers is valued highly by all involved with the fair.

If you are interested in applying please send a CV and covering letter to info@kinetica-museum.org. Your covering letter should tell us why you are applying, highlight relevant experience, and detail availability during the period of the fair.
