ITS International Talent Support - 3 Competitions
ITS#FASHION INTERNATIONAL FASHION COMPETITION
Prize money € 75,000
There is no Entry Fee! Deadline to enrol is 25 March 2009
Submit collection from 5 to 8 outfits + 1 outfit focused on a creative use
of denim
Prizes up for grabs: Fashion Collection of the Year: The winner will come to ITS#NINE to present
a new collection with a dedicated fashion show and be part of the Fashion &
Accessories Jury. EVE will cover all expenses and handle the production and
organisation of the fashion show, giving the winner €20,000 towards the
development of the new collection. The evaluation criteria are: creativity,
innovation, feasibility.
Diesel Award: The Diesel Award aims to ensure that fashion students' dreams become reality by offering them the most tangible way to support their breakthrough into the international fashion scene. The Award consists of a cash prize of €50,000 that the winner can use, without limitations, to promote their work in the best possible way and to invest in their career.
On top of that, the winner will be offered an internship within the Diesel
Creative Team, headed by Diesel's Creative Director Wilbert Das at its HQ in
Italy and discover all the secrets of working in an innovative fashion
company.
Fashion Special Prize: The winner will be awarded a cash prize of €5,000.
The award will be assigned taking into consideration only pure creativity.
i-D Styling Award: Internationally renowned i-D magazine offers this prize to the fashion collection with the best styling. The winner will have the opportunity to work for one month (with a reimbursement of expenses) with the i-D team on a photo shoot which will be published in a future issue of the magazine.
Vertice Award: Vertice, the renowned boutique in Turin, Italy will give the winner the opportunity to have a window installation during the International Contemporary Art Fair "Artissima" held in Turin in November.
Vertice will also organise a special event presenting the work of the winner
to the press.

ITS#ACCESSORIES INTERNATIONAL ACCESSORIES COMPETITION

Submit from 3 to 5 Accessories Sketches + 3 Sketches for the YKK Project.
Prizes up for grabs:
Accessories Collection of the Year: The winner will be awarded €10,000 to be used towards the creation of a new accessories collection of at least 5
pieces which will be presented to the press and public at ITS#NINE. The
evaluation criteria are: creativity, innovation and feasibility.
YKK Award: Contestants are asked to design 3 freely inspired accessories
focused on an original and creative use of YKK fastenings. YKK will pick one
out of the three asking finalists to produce it for ITS#EIGHT. The finalists
with the best YKK accessory will be awarded €10,000 and will be the focus of
a professional promotional image to be used for communicational purposes
around the world.
CRYSTALLIZED™ Accessories Award: CRYSTALLIZED™, the product brand for the world's finest loose crystals manufactured by Swarovski, is the new sponsor of ITS#ACCESSORIES and will provide, upon request, all accessories finalists with CRYSTALLIZED™ —Swarovski Elements for their collections. The winner of the "CRYSTALLIZED™ Accessories Award" will receive €5,000.

Submit from 12 to 15 pics on the theme "Originality"
Prizes up for grabs:
MINI Clubman Photo Award: € 10.000 + a photo shoot together with a
renowned photographer, travelling exhibition around the world, dedicated
article in international magazine.
SVA PhotoGlobal award (Offered by School of Visual Arts, New York): the
winner receives a scholarship to the one year intensive PhotoGlobal
photography course at School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Pitti Immagine Photo Award: PITTI Immagine will choose 2 winners to create
the advertising campaigns for the Womenswear Fairs that Pitti organises in
Milan twice a year.
