Islington Exhibits: Call for short visual arts film submissions

Islington Exhibits is an annual initiative to unlock venues in Islington and give artists and craft makers a platform to display their work. In 2011 it takes place across two weekends:

· 15-17 July for North Islington.
· 22-24 July for South Islington.

We are currently seeking submissions of short visual arts films which will be screened as part of Islington Exhibits on the 16th of July. Feature films and all genres and film making methods will be considered, however short films are preferred. There is no submission fee and entrants need not come from the Islington area.

Deadline for submissions: Monday 11th July

Please ensure that all films are complete and working before submitting in DVD format. We are unable to return entries, so please don’t send us your only copy. If you need more information please email: sarah@therowanartsproject.com

Send films (ideally under 20 minutes), a brief written description of the work and your contact details to:

The Rowan Arts Project,
The Old Fire Station,
84 Mayton Street,
London N7 6QT.

Alternatively, you could send us a link to your work if it’s accessible online, or if you live locally, you can visit us in person at The Old Fire Station Building.
