Higher Playing Field Logo/Brand Design Competition.
We deliver events and programs that provide empowering information and resources, to the mainstream of young people, educators and parents across the UK. Our programs currently include: Career Tour and Online Mentoring.
Main Duties
Higher Playing Field is running a competition inviting students and graduates to design a logo for the Higher Playing Field Brand. The winning designer will be awarded a £500 prize. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to showcase your talent, creative flair and add to your design portfolio.
Competition Rules: The three Directors of Higher Playing Field will decide on the winning design. Their decision is final. Higher Playing Field will own all rights to the winning design. Once the prize fund is awarded the designer agrees to give Higher Playing Field and its Directors their winning design and the copyright to the original art work.
Requirements
We are looking for a logo that fully represents our brand values, which are detailed below. The Higher Playing Field brand represents a growing enterprise. Over the next few years we plan to launch new programs and products; create new divisions; and form partnerships/joint ventures. Designers will need to incorporate flexibility into the design and future proof the design. An example of a brand that currently does this is basecamp (www.basecamphq.com/).
Brand Name – Higher Playing Field
Brand Slogan – Raising Aspirations and Achievement
Brand Values – The key words that describe our brand are:
• Empowerment
• Transformational
• Aspirational
• Inspirational
• Innovative
• Integrity
• Network – meaning shared responsibility, shared resources, working together, mentorship, well connected, growing networks and networking
The design must also evoke the values below so test your design against these:
• Strategic – linked to future proofing. We are aiming to create a movement. Career Tour and Online Mentoring are the first puzzle pieces of a much larger vision and intention
• Leadership
• Courageous
• Can-do ethos
• Supportive
• Nurturing
• Knowledgeable
• Continuous Learning
• Energising
• Passion
• Enlightening
• Quality
• Professional
• Outspoken
