Getting started in PR

Getting started in PR

The CIPR will be hosting a careers morning for students and graduates interested in starting a career in Public Relations. We understand that it has become increasingly difficult for graduates to enter their chosen career. This event will provide you with useful hints and tips to help you get that all important first foothold on the PR ladder.

The event consists of three bite-size sessions offering advice and guidance on what employers are looking for; getting your foot in the door and then CV and interview tips. All sessions include an opportunity for you to ask questions.

Following the event you will have the opportunity to network with a few select PR recruitment consultants and PR organisations.

The programme for the morning is as follows:

09:30 Registration with tea/coffee and a continental breakfast
10:00 Event starts
