Getting Ahead in UK Publishing 20 April
Interested in a future in publishing? The Society of Young Publishers (SYP) is the best place to start. Established in 1949, the SYP membership is made up of people working in publishing or hoping to be soon. Run by a team of dedicated volunteers, our aim is to help assist, inform and enthuse anyone trying to break into the publishing industry or progress within it.
This year's London Book Fair features our key seminar, 'Getting Ahead in UK Publishing', Monday 20 April 2009 with high-profile speakers discussing the ingredients needed to kick-start your career in publishing.
In November, we will be holding our renowned Annual Conference in Oxford; unmissable for anyone serious about understanding the issues facing the industry, and about acquiring the skills needed to progress further.
