Fashion Networking Event
Not-for-profit organisation Fashion Enter is holding a conference and networking event at Centrale Shopping Centre in Croydon to celebrate its newly forged trade relationship with South Africa’s fashion industry on Friday 23rd July.
For the last few years Fashion Enter has been working closely with the Department of Arts & Culture in South Africa to commence trade with the country’s traditional beaders and crafters. Fashion Enter also now stocks fashions by top South African designers in their Croydon shop. This conference hopes to give Fashion Enter’s British designers the chance to meet with some of the most influential fashion buyers from South Africa, opening opportunities for trade.
There will also be an opportunity for people interested in fashion to take part in an informal networking event. From 11.30am until 1pm Fashion Enter will be ready to receive students and up-and-coming-designers to speak face-to-face with Fashion Enter advisors and designers. The event is free to attend and anyone interested is welcome to drop in all day.
“Centrale is always keen to support young people in the community through a variety of initiatives such as the Fashion Enter conference and networking event on Friday,” comments Tina Lad-Madden, Marketing Manager at Centrale Shopping Centre in Croydon.
