Exhibition opportunity
Asia House is the UK's leading promoter of Asian art and culture, running a busy programme of events throughout the year. In the coming months there will be exhibition opportunities for young and emerging artists in the Asia House café. Applicants will to be from an Asian background or have work to exhibit with an Asian style or subject.
The café supports 2-dimensional work only and as prices need to be around £300 (inc. VAT), multiples are most suitable. There is also scope for video work to be presented on a large plasma screen in the café. Installation costs must be covered by the artist and artwork will be sold on a 25% commission basis. Alternatively, the café gallery is also available to rent on a weekly basis with no commission taken.
To be considered please send a brief background to your work, CV and at least 4 images to Anna Bromwich at annabromwich@gmail.com. If you have not heard back within 3 weeks please assume that you have not been selected.
