Dora the Explorer backpack designer required!
The artist needs to interpret a design done by a UK female celebrity, and using a Nick Jr toolkit design and make the backpack in a time scale of about seven days.
Note how this works - celeb puts some thoughts down on paper and then the designer actually makes the whole thing. This is following a highly publicised campaign in the States, which saw Jessica Alba, Salma Hayek, Matthew McConaughey, Slash, Shakira and Eva Herzigova design one-off backpacks (please see a selection below) – Dora’s trusty companion.
We would like a fashion element as we are looking to partner with a fashion auctioning website to auction the UK and US backpacks off for a UK children’s charity.
Ideally we’d be looking to get these done by London Fashion Week, as we know what a busy time of year it is. Please note: there would be a fee involved which would be discussed further with the individual artist. The time scale we were thinking of is about 7 days to work on the design. A written contract will be put in place and the artist will be credited for their work.
