(Idea+Design) x Poster = £100

The competition is open to all students involved in arts, Illustration / graphic design / photography at UAL and the winning design will win £100 The winning poster will be displayed around the university as well as on handouts and published on the UAL website.
Briefing:
Using any style to sensitively convey a positive message and raise awareness of disabilities and in particular the diversity of disabilities within the arts. This should be an original piece and could be done with mixed media, collage, drawings or photographs and reflect both hidden and visible disabilities. The design can be anything that you feel is appropriate, but should be pleasing to the eye and not discordant. They can be full colour, or a limited range of colours, or black and white, photographic, collaged or drawn work. You could also consider using semi-abstract elements such as typography as part of your illustrations. The image chosen for the poster will need to work well at A1 portrait size
Get Started:
Your work should initially be e mailed (or posted on a CD) as a high resolution image (jpeg/ gif format only) to Diversity@arts.ac.uk or to Diversity Team, University of the Arts, Room 120, 65 Davies Street, London W1K 5DA

The winning design will be chosen by the Disability Awareness Week Working Group and their decision will be final. Please note, we reserve the right to add additional text/information to the winning poster.
