Designs competition for Bollywood themed Fashion show
Fashion. Entertainment. Bollywood.
Students of the University of the Arts London: Why not feature a design in the BIGGEST student event of the year at the University of Essex in association with Goldsmiths College, Imperial College, KCL, UCL, UEA, Uni. Leicester and Brunel on 14th May 2011?
Planet Bollywood will feature a Bollywood themed fashion show and competition showcasing spectacular designs, followed by as much Bollywood food as you can eat and a legendary afterparty with dhol players, dance performances and celebrity appearances....so watch this space.
What we are looking for:
1 design inspired by Bollywood
ALL DESIGNERS WILL GET FREE TICKETS TO THE EVENT.
THE WINNER OF THE COMPETITION WILL RECEIVE £250
Added to this, all designers will be showcased in the official website for the event which will be finalised in October alongside the event profile and adverts from sponsoring firms. This website will be linked to our Students Union website, facebook and twitter pages, and the SU websites that we are working in partnership with throughout the course of the next academic year.
Keep the 14th May 2011 in your diaries....it will be a night to remember!
How to enter the competition:
All applicants must simply fill out the form which will be on our website shortly. They must send a maximum of 6 photos to zmohiu@essex.ac.uk
The top 25 entries will be selected to showcase their designs on the 14th May 2011.
The Closing Date for the competition will be on Tuesday 30th November 2010.
Judging Process:
All designs must be completed by 31st March 2011. A panel of five judges will judge the competition on 14th May 2011 and the winning designer will receive £250. The top five designers will receive free gifts from our sponsors.
