Design a Postcard - Degree fundraiser
I’m holding an event on the 7th May at Wimbledon College of Art Lecture Theatre called WCA SECRET to raise money for our Degree Show in June.
The idea is ‘borrowed’ from RCA’S SECRET which is an event they use to raise money for their bursaries.

So, this is what’s happening:
Professional artists and students will submit an ORIGINAL piece of artwork which MUST be completed on a postcard and it MUST be signed on the reverse on the dotted line, keeping the artist’s identity a secret.
The artist’s name is only revealed once the postcard has been bought.
All cards will be sold in a one-day sale. This will be done through a raffle system where you can buy one raffle per person and each raffle represents one postcard and it is a lucky dip as to which postcard you end up with. It will not be an auction. Each postcard will be one set price.
I need more professional artists willing to participate in this event to raise money for our degree show.
The postcards will be available the week starting 20th April and they MUST be returned by 4th May.
If you could REPLY IN EMAIL to melanieward@hotmail.co.uk with a YES to WCA SECRET if you are interested in participating. PLEASE REPLY TO ME ASAP and I can hand deliver/collect postcards or send a stamped SAE.
