Campaign Photos Awards 2010
Campaign Photo. Creative. Global. Successful.
In 2009, Campaign decided to launch a set of awards that raised some eyebrows, but received mainly nods of approval. The nods were from those who know that, as one of the world's key advertising business titles, Campaign has earned huge respect at home and around the world as a champion of creativity to make advertising harder hitting, more emotive, evocative, effective...and successful.
Photography is one of the keystones of creativity. Purists still use film, for its inate atmospheric qualities. Newer kids on the block are the pixel purists, capturing images digitally. The historic, the traditional and the very latest image originators all have a place in the Campaign Photo Awards. Their talents will be recognised by product sector, the way that photographers are briefed. Professional photographers, agency creatives and the photographic libraries are all eligible to enter. There is no time limit on the images, only on their use during the eligibilty period for the Campaign Photo Awards.
The risk of launching a new set of awards in the worst economic downturn in a generation was soon offset by the rapid acceptance the competition gained from around the world: among the first ten entries last year were images from Mongolia, the USA and Norway. Campaign Photo is now global and successful, and is open for entries to the 2010 Awards.
In July, at Jasmine Studios in west London, the work of the Finalists and Winners will be shown during a private exhibition at the Awards presentation on Wednesday 7th July.
So join us in this celebration of photographic brilliance. Enter your own brilliant images and be a part of a unique occasion when the focus will be only on photography.
Good luck with your entries
