Callout for interested students to help with an arts event in Camden
I would like to make a move towards a more sincere exploration that unites Chinese artists in London and young people in Camden, who would be the Roundhouse's local community.
My project/event would bring together 3 different art forms:
1. New Media/digital art by Chinese or London based arts students
2. Performance artist by Chinese or London based arts students
3. Musicians local to Camden
We would hold several rehearsals before the event to introduce the artists to each others work and give them a chance to react to one another to create a cohesive performance.
A prior knowledge of Chinese contemporary art, or even contemporary art in general will not be required by the audience, merely a willingness to be open to what they are witnessing.
