Call for Submissions to Fashion Souvenirs Online Open-Submission Exhibition June 2010
Varsity-style clothing is one of the key trends for Spring/Summer 2010, with Harvard University in the USA launching its own dedicated clothing collection earlier in the year. Many an aspiring college graduate can also be seen sporting a hoodie from a celebrated university, such as Cambridge or Oxford, dreaming of the day they too can throw away the mortar board. In recognition of this, the Fashion Souvenirs exhibition is seeking entries for our June 2010 instalment on the theme of Varsity Style, since this is also the traditional month for graduation ceremonies. Many us have leave with fond memories of our college and university, and leave with a memento in the form of a T-shirt, cap, bag or sweatshirt emblazoned with our alma mataâ s name or coat of arms. Or perhaps you still have your old school tie lurking in the back of the wardrobe?
Contributing to Fashion Souvenirs is easy. Just send us a high-res 300 dpi jpeg photo of your Varsity Style souvenir, together with your name and a brief description to: submissions@fashion-souvenirs.com
All suitable entries will be included and fully credited in the June 10 online exhibition instalment. Deadline for all submissions is: 30th May 2010
