Call for short play submissions
This comes after the success of the sold-out WritBites at RADA in November, which premiered nine new short plays from writers in the UK as well as America and Europe.
The deadline for script submissions for the March event is 5 February (but we will continue to accept scripts after this date for future events).
All scripts submitted should be typed on single-side A4 and be accompanied by a covering letter. Plays should be between 5 and 15 minutes long.
Please send submissions to:
WriteTime
92 Cromwell Tower,
Barbican,
London,
EC2Y 8DD
Or email scripts as a PDF to: info@eyebrowproductions.co.uk
All scripts we receive will be read individually by several members of Eyebrow Productions and if your script is not selected for the specific event being produced at that time, it may still be considered for future projects.
Eyebrow Productions is a young, vibrant theatre company based in London. As well as producing shows in Bristol, Edinburgh and Oxford, the company is most well known for Showtime Challenge - an ambitious attempt to stage and rehearse a full-scale West End production in just 48 hours with all proceeds going to charity. Previous Showtime productions have included Sweet Charity at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, and Me And My Girl and Crazy For You at the London Palladium.
Eyebrow’s innovative approach to theatre has been recognised and supported by a number of high-profile figures, including Dame Judi Dench, Stephen Fry, Joanna Lumley, Gail Porter, Mel Smith and Mel Giedroyc.
